Polar orbit satellite images

Satellite images processed to Polar Stereographic projection. These images are updated at 12.00 (Visible light image) and at 00.00, 06.00, 12.00 and 18.00 (UTC) for the Infra-Red images. Polar projection matches the synoptic charts available from the MetFax Education service.

A processed Meteosat image to give colour image - blue sea and light brown land. Image has been corrected for perspective with false colour additions.
